Total Savings: $24.55

Lastly - we have a MIR (mail in rebate) for the Red Baron pizza from the 4/25 SS. I have no idea if it's going to give us back $1 which is what we paid, or $3 which is full price. We bought 3 mainly because we thought we could do this on all three, but you have to have the original receipt so we can only do one. So one pizza will be at least free, and the other two will probably be $1.

Total after tax, coupons and MIR's: $24.14
Bought 35 items, so if you want to think of it that way, it's $0.69 per item.

Lessons from today:
1) Make sure you watch the computer as stuff is rung up to verify the prices. We could have spent $1.50 less if we were paying a little more attention (we were talking to the couponing ladies behind us).
2) We had 2 more coupons to get 2 more Gillette body washes free but our cashier wasn't having any of that. But she was super nice so we didn't argue at all. Different cashiers = different coupon policies. Sometimes you can get the full overage of the coupon if the cashier doesn't care. Kids don't care but always act like they're being put out to scan coupons. Older people are more willing to work with you, but are more strict.
