Elizabeth Kroger 5/30 spent $5.64

Remember that my Kroger (Plano, TX) doubles up to and including $0.50 coupons, and triples up to and including $0.39 coupons.

(2) $1.09 - Mahatma Rice
- (2) $0.50/1 from 4/25 RP (doubled made the rice $0.09 each)

$1.69 - Minute Rice Ready to Serve brown rice
- $0.50/1 printable (doubled made this $0.69 - great for work)

(2) $0.89 - Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
- $0.60/2 printable (This isn't available anymore but there is now a $0.50/1 on coupons.com which would have been much better. After my coupon that was expiring, they were $0.59 each.)

(2) $1.50 - Betty Crocker Frosting
- (2) $0.40/1 printable (doubled made them $0.70 each)

(2) $1.29 Wacky Mac Pasta
- (2) $0.50/1 printable (doubled made this $0.29 each)

(3) $1.09 - Bounty Basic paper towels
- (3) $0.25/1 from 5/2 P&G insert (tripled made them $0.34 each)

(2) $1.09 - Domino Brown Sugar
- (2) $0.50/1 from 5/2 RP insert (doubled made them $0.09 each)

(8) $1.00 - Life Savers
- (4) B1G1 printable (no longer available)
- (4) $1/2 printable (made them all free)

Total before coupons: $25.15

Total after coupons: $5.64

Savings of 78%.

I should note that this was by no means a regular or necessary grocery trip. But since it was the end of the month I went through my already clipped (and my oldest 2 inserts) coupons and pulled anything $0.50 or less (for doubling and tripling) that I thought might get me free or close to free groceries and this is what I came up with. I will most likely make another trip to Kroger before tomorrow with any other deals I read about online (the new ad comes out on Wednesdays).
