Contacting Companies

So I've been emailing companies to compliment them for a little over a month now. I don't just sit here and think of a company, many other bloggers have already done that for me and write posts once or twice a week that include links to contacting companies. Why, you ask? They send you coupons. Usually very high value coupons. Sometimes coupons for free stuff! And my latest gift? A package of Venus Breeze razor cartridges!!! All I did was take 1 minute and email P&G and compliment them on how much I love Venus Breeze and Spa Breeze razors (I really do, I wasn't just saying that for free coupons, although that happens sometimes too) and yesterday I received this in the mail, along with a $2/2 Pantene coupon and a nice letter thanking me for my kind words. So I started to think that it's silly of me to not tell my couple of readers how to do the same. So today I'm just going to share with you a few of the companies I've contacted that gave me HUGE rewards. I should note that sometimes I just get emails back that say "thanks" and that's it. But at least 90% of the time I get coupons. Disclaimer: If you don't get the same stuff as me don't blame me! Also, if you are unhappy with a product, contact them! You will ALWAYS get coupons/refunds/free stuff for legitimate complaints.

Go here to send an email to P&G about Venus razors - I received a pack of razor cartridges.

Go here to send an email to Hefty - I received a coupon for a free Hefty product of my choice (we all know how expensive good quality trash bags are).

Go here to send an email to Bayer about Aleve - I received a coupon for a free product up to around $18 (if I remember correctly - I got this ages ago).

Just FYI: I created an email address just for coupon stuff and that's the email I give to these companies when I fill out forms - just so it won't junk up my regular email. I wouldn't give a fake one because sometimes the coupons come through email, not snail mail.

Also, if you're wondering what to write, I usually just write a couple of sentences. For Venus I probably wrote something like "I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how much I love Venus breeze razors. It's such a time saver to not have to worry with shaving cream in the shower. Thanks for what you do!" Just make sure you mention the actual product so it doesn't sound too terribly fake.

Let me know how it goes!! I will try to start doing this every week or so.

I love e-mailing companies and sharing my opinion! It's great to get more coupons in the mail. I just found your blog via Couponing to Disney and am now a follower :)
