I have a question if you can help. When an item is on sale for B1G1 and you have a coupon for B1G1 and you combine them both items are for free and you have to have a filler item for each item? or how does that work?

Filler items are only needed if 1) you need to raise your total to a certain amount to use your ECB's or RR's or 2) you need to use more coupons/RR's than items at Walgreen's. If an item is on sale at Walgreen's for B1G1 then you can get 2 for free with a B1G1 coupon with no filler needed because that's 2 items, 1 coupon. Does that answer your question?

Yes somewhat. For example, CVS starting 6/27 is having stayfree(limit 6 per transaction) and m&m pretezels B1G1 & there is gonna be a coupon for B1G1 for both items. How many B1G1 free coupons do I
need for stay free if I want six of them and 6 of the m&m pretezels if there is no limit. I'm not sure if I'll need fillers. I'm also going to try to do the scrubbing bubbles to do the $5 ECB wyb $10 worth and there is a coupon for B1G1. Thanks so much fof responding love your site.

Ok, good question! Let's say the transaction you want to do is 6 stayfree and 6 pretzel m&ms. The in store sale will make 3 of the stayfree free and 3 of the pretzel m&ms free. So you'll need 3 B1G1 stayfree coupons and 3 B1G1 pretzel m&m coupons to make the remaining products free. So when you combine a B1G1 sale with a B1G1 coupon, you will always need 1 coupon per pair of items. The scrubbing bubbles is a great idea as well. I'm assuming you are referring to the buy 1 toilet cleaning gel get the fresh brush starter kit free coupon. This is a great coupon. FYI, there is a $1/1 toilet cleaning gel coupon in the 6/13 SS. You can combine these two coupons as it would be 2 items, 2 coupons. Another FYI, I've never been able to use the B1G1 coupon at CVS because I've never seen the free item (fresh brush) there. Let me know how it goes! (Isn't it exciting to think about going there and getting 6 products for free?)

Hello Elizabeth I tried doing 6 stayfree (B1G1) and used 3 B1G1 also I bought 8 m&m pretezels and used 4(B1G1). I paid .99 cents oop. Is that correct. You do pay for tax.

Oh my gosh that's fantastic!! I first have to ask you: How great did it feel paying so little for all that stuff? You must have saved around $20! And yes it sounds correct to me. I've heard other bloggers say they always have to pay tax like that but I've never noticed it here (Dallas, TX). Whereabouts do you live? Also, if you want to take a pic of the receipt (or scan it) and your items, I'd love to post about your trip on the blog!

Hello Elizabeth I had sent you a previous message about letting you know that as soon as I had a chance I would take pictures of the stuff I got I have done about 5 trips to CVS. Also I was wondering if you wanted some coupons for the warm delights cuz I read in your blog that you like them and I have many coupons of the those that take .75 off for purchasing one. Also I ran into a problem in one of the CVS they told me that I couldn't use the B1G1 free coupons because they would be free even though I had done it 2 times in that store before. He said that they should have allowed me to use them but other CVS have not given me any trouble. So far I have 30 stayfree, 40 M&M pretezels and 4 aveeno products. So in merchandise I have about $193.56 and only paid about $4.95

WOW!!! Did you buy several newspapers this week or did you order your coupons online? If you want, you can email me to continue the discussion at frugalblondes(at)gmail(dot)com - replace the words in the parentheses with the appropriate symbols. I don't write out the exact email address just in case spammers are reading this. Yeah, you will always find different "policies" at different stores. At least you have access to several stores so you know from now on that that store is not B1G1 friendly. And yes, of course I would LOVE more warm delights coupons! If you want to trade for something I might have we could do that! Just let me know.
